Aloko House means the House of Light to give tribute to Compassion guided by the light of Wisdom. Wisdom is what we need in life for a self-aware, fruitful, happy life. And education is what we need to light this light.

In our journey to establish our self-sustaining Bodhisattva Elementary School in Nepal and elsewhere, we have first established our base in Pokhara Nepal. And with the Phase 1 renovation completed, we are ready to receive guests from outside of Nepal to conduct seminars, workshops, training sessions, classes, with the local communities to foster exchange of information and experience as well as, education!

As of July 20th, 2022, we have built by hand a Stupa Zen Garden out of stone, a driveway, a park lot for 2 cars, and a compassionate heart made out of pebbles. We have fixed-up our gardens by removing weeds and planted the seeds for vegetables. The spider-webs have been removed, and everything is clean and tidy ready to go. Site One: Close to the mountain, 15 minutes to Pokhara by car, close to Pema Tsal Monastery, has water, electricity, and road. The cost to purchase the land is $300,000 for about 661 square meters of buildable space.
